Casting Bless on your party can push their stats above and beyond their natural limits, giving you that extra edge. Beacon of Hope - max healing is usually irrelevant, but this is the fight where every hit point counts, and a max roll on Mass Cure Wounds for everyone is a huge deal. In Solasta i've definitely had at least 2 natural 20s in a row.Simple spells like Blind can often outshine damage spells as it leaves the enemy unable to attack or defend effectively. Regardless, thank you all for the help, I'll see what I can do in the settings, and then just keep refighting the same fights. I promise next time I get 4 nat 20's in a row to 1 shot enemies I will come on and post about it. Make them waste their natural 20s.Īnd then, later, when you get a natural 20, remember how you complained about the NPCs getting natural 20s, and remember, it goes both ways. Don't advance, but retreat, or cast a spell or hide behind an object. Change what you are doing, since you know the next rolls are going to be good for the NPCs. However, assuming you are telling the literal truth, so the rolls are fixed to give nat 20s next, due to the current RNG seed, then you can use that to your advantage. You wouldn't have reloaded to see the same results pop up. You'd have just accepted their fails, laughed, and carried on. Could equally have been natural 1s, and in which case, you wouldn't have made this post to complain about the bad luck the NPCs had. The RNG has simply had some good rolls for the NPCs lined up. However, what's going on here regardless is just bad luck. If the RNG is done well, it would be different every time you reloaded, but i've seen games actually do it on purpose to stop people reloading as a way to cheat the RNG. If they are really getting exactly the same result every time you restart, my guess is the RNG seed doesn't change between attempts. ![]()
